(Evan) But, why would you try to get into the creator's office? That would angry the overseers, you know that.

The two were roaming around on town floor, mainly filled with stores and restaurants made out to look like a mall. 

(Michael) I know, but there has to be more to us. We were killed and built into devices, no else. Doesn't this bother you? 

(Evan) Yes, I will admit that. But to be honest, I want to go outside, see the world's true beauty. Com-

(?) Hey! Hey, Guys!

It was Ashley, Ellyn and Lea. Ashley Device #175; Ellyn's best friend, they mostly spend each moment together, regardless of far apart their numbers. Although Ashely is older, she looks younger Ellyn. Ellyn Device #2; Second person to be transformed, she fought a lot during her change, so she was given more injects then necessary. Lastly, Lea Device #60, the youngest girl, possible 7 when she transformed into Device, although she young, she stronger, smarter and active then anyone else.

(Ashley) Michael! We heard about your stunt today. Raid against the overseers, pretty damn stupid.  

(Michael) Shut up, we all have a purpose. We can't just pretend we were made for no reason.

(Lea) He's right, but defying the overseers will be the death of you. 

(Michael) We have to see what's inside his office. It never hurts to try.

(Evan) Sigh, Alright. Let's go then. 

(Ellyn) Really? Why would you guys risk so much for a secret? There is no reason for it.

(Evan) Michael's right. There must be something about our origins. Join us or not, your choice. Let's go, Michael.

Michael and Evan ran off, making their way to the higher floor, the restricted area. The two made it to the floor of creator's office. There were three drones protecting the floor, making it impossible for the two.

(Michael) Hey, give me something to throw.

(Evan) The drones can trace where we threw from.

(Michael) Not if we run.

Michael grabbed some gears off the floor, and threw it in the dark area of the room. One of the drones heard the noise and alerted the other two drones. All three drones had scanned the gears and then traced it back where it was thrown. The drones traced the trail all the way to where Michael and Evan were. They weren't there, they had made it inside the office.

(Evan) Alright, I think we are clear... Michael?

Michael had started to go through the filing cabinets, drawers and folders inside the office. Michael had given up hope, so he started to walk towards the door. He turned towards Evan, who was knocking on a part of the wall. Michael looked closely at it, it appeared to be painting of a young, black haired man. He's figured looked pretty active, but yet smart all together.

(Michael) Hey, who is this?

(Evan) By these looks, he fits the description of the creator. He does look odd, but this painting looks old.

(Michael) Hmm, the creator huh? It still wonders my mind whe-

Evan had punched through the painting, breaking the safe behind it. Evan had pulled something out from the safe. 

(Michael) Nicely done, dumbass.

(Evan) What? This, looks different from anything in the factory.

(Michael) Maybe it could be a plug..

This thing looked like a smooth edged gear, with writing on the inside, and the Device symbol on it. On the inside read, "Replace the left ear, with this memory drive."

(Michael) Memory drive... This doesn't look like one at all.

(Evan) Well, it doesn't hurt to test it. Right?
